Order by 3pm (11am Fri & Sat). We cut your lenses to fit in our in-house lab, usually in 1–2 hours, then adjust your new glasses so they feel just right.

Lots of optical shops send your glasses out to a lab, and you wait a week or more. We’d rather you didn’t wait. At EyeMax Frisco, we cut your single-vision lenses to fit your new frame in our own lab, then our opticians fit and adjust them for you.

Can I really get my glasses the same day?
Yes. Most single-vision prescriptions in a wide selection of our frames are ready in about 1–2 hours. Order by 3pm Monday through Thursday, or by 11am on Friday and Saturday, and call ahead so we can confirm before you come in.
Can I get glasses in 1 hour?
Often, yes. Many single-vision orders are ready in about an hour, and most are ready within 1–2 hours. Timing depends on your prescription and frame, so call ahead and we’ll give you an estimate before you come in.
Which lenses and frames are available for same-day glasses?
Most single-vision lenses for distance, reading, or computer use can be made the same day, in a wide selection of our frames. Progressives, very strong prescriptions, and some specialty lenses or coatings need to be ordered and take longer. Our opticians will tell you which frames and lenses qualify before you order.
Do you take walk-ins?
We do! Walk-ins are always welcome, but we can’t guarantee same-day service without a quick call first. Calling ahead is the best way to make sure your glasses are ready today.
What if I wear progressives?
Progressive lenses typically take 7–10 days. You can choose your frames and order the same visit, and we’ll let you know as soon as they’re ready.
Do I need a current prescription?
Bring a valid prescription with you. If yours has expired or your vision has changed, book an eye exam with our Frisco doctors.
Can I bring a prescription from another eye doctor?
Yes. We’re happy to fill a valid, unexpired eyeglass prescription from any eye doctor. Bring a copy with you, or have your doctor’s office send it to us ahead of time. Note that a contact lens prescription can’t be used to make glasses.
How much do same-day prescription glasses cost?
The price depends on the frame and lenses you choose and on your vision benefits. If you have vision insurance, we’ll check your coverage before you order so you know your cost up front. Call us and we’ll give you an idea of pricing before you come in.
Can I use my vision insurance?
Yes. We accept most vision benefits providers, including VSP, EyeMed, Spectera, Davis Vision, Superior, and more.
